Profession Wildlife Control

Proximity is the number 1 cause for wildlife related nuisance complaints in the Portland Metro area. Rivers, streams, drainage ditches and any form of water are the principle means of both transportation and survival for our furry friends. In our yards we usually have something suitable for the critters to consume or other attractants. Living near water (The Entire Willamette Valley), viable food sources and shelter of any type can also bring any of us an unwanted interaction.

Eco-Friendly & Effective

We use traps and specialty tools/bait to take care of the problem with the least possible collateral damage. Some companies will bait with cat food and catch all the cats in the neighborhood or attempt to poison large animals leading to unnecessary damage to the ecosystem. We rarely catch non-target animals as we use specific baits. There has never been any method we have used that isn't environmentally friendly, the eco way is the only proven way.

Multiple Licenses

Due to the nature of dealing with wildlife related problems there is usually more that needs to be handled than the eviction of the pests. We maintain both a Wildlife Control Operator's License and a License with the Construction Contractor's Board in Oregon. Habitat modification, one-way eviction doors and traps will more often than not require both licenses to be active. Find out why we're Willamette Valleys most trusted and professional pest control company.

Methods Of Trapping and Control:

Trapping, eviction, and elimination stand as the cornerstone of our comprehensive approach to pest control. Whether it's raccoons, nutria, beavers, squirrels, otter, opossums, skunk, muskrat, or any other nuisance wildlife species, our methods are designed to effectively manage and eliminate the culprit(s) causing disruption. Through strategic trapping techniques and humane eviction methods, we ensure the removal of unwanted guests while minimizing collateral damage to the environment and non-target animals. With decades of combined experience, our team employs specialized tools and bait to address each unique situation, delivering swift and lasting solutions for property owners.
When outside (particularly at night), table scraps, garbage, bird feeders, pet foods and water in any form provide a strong attraction for a number of wildlife species including raccoon, opossum, skunk and even rats. Every animal needs food, water and shelter. Providing just one of three can put your property at risk. This can eventually lure animals into creating damage or attempting to find/create shelter on the property if food and/or water is readily available. If land is not properly managed, control measures such as trapping are not warranted until the landowner is properly educated and proper trash handling is implemented to permanently eliminate the attraction.
The activities of people often create habitat for animals that eventually can become a problem. Urban sprawls, piles of brush, wood, rocks, dense vegetation and shrubs provide cover for a wide variety of wildlife. Don't forget about bees and snakes! (see our pictures). Better management of these areas often reduces their attractiveness to wildlife species causing the problem. Plugging and covering holes into buildings and under porches with rocks and rubbish are sometimes futile efforts that can be implemented to solve a problem. Locking animals inside the house will lead to a much larger problem. Wait may be as many as 72 hours to find out if an attempt failed. Proper covering of entrances can stop animals/birds' ability to enter a structure. We have easy tricks to verify no animals are present before sealing. structures. Permanent exclusion methods are always recommended.
Many times this option will provide the most sustainable long-term solution to a nuisance wildlife problem. Poor building design and/or poor maintenance, can provide easy access to wildlife, this can be corrected. Exclusion, such as barriers, specialized fences, screening and repairs to existing vents, chimneys (screens and caps) or foundations are very effective at keeping wild animals away from areas where they are not wanted. Harassment such as a radio and/or lights in the crawl space or attic may prove effective for eviction purposes, permanent measures will still be needed long term.
